Tried this for the first time last night and so far it is just lovely. It has a nice soft cucumber scent but not too strong. It dissolved my makeup with no problem and left my skin incredibly soft. I’ve longed to try this By Terry product since I first clapped eyes on it on someone else, and I’m happy to say that it has lived up to my hopes. The light-reflecting pigments and hyaluronic ingredient (or so I surmise) do really plump up the look of the skin and give a soft-focus effect on fine lines and pores. I use the brush to dab it under my eyes and around the t-zone, and then use my fingertips to quickly blend it outwards in a light patting motion. The result is of ‘naturally’ (ha) pretty, glowing bare skin! Coverage is sheer¡ªjust enough to even out skintone. Note that this isn’t a foundation for days when you want a picture-perfect canvas; this is more like a sort of lingerie-for-skin as it were, making naked skin look better. I like to wear this over the Colour Skin Enhancer in Abricot, but have also worn it successfully over the Clarins Lisse Minute primer. It has even pipped my other darling (the sadly discontinued Steph¨¤ne Marais fluid foundation) to the post as my favourite light foundation¡ªand that’s a big call for me. I do wish it came in a squeeze tube or pump bottle instead, as I found the brush rather stiff and unwieldy, but oh well. All up, it’s a *lovely* find, and I shall quite definitely repurchase as needed…I also look forward to buying another shade or two as well!

I hope Clinique never quits making this product. Without it, the pores on my nose and across my cheeks would be accented by any makeup that I wear. Every time I run out of this product and have to go buy more, I am afraid that the SA will tell me that it has been discontinued. It seems like this happens to me with all my other favorite skin care and makeup products. A little goes a long way. If you find that you have applied too much and makeup is rolling up on top of it, just use a tissure and lightly wipe excess pore minimizer off or either blend it in with your fingers to surrounding areas.

I bought this brush a few years ago with my first purchase of Prescriptives foundation. It is the only foundation brush I have ever used. It can cause a little streaky-ness when applying thinner liquid foundations, but the way I combat this is, I use the brush to dab on the make-up to prevent waste. I apply the foundation with the brush as evenly as possible and then use a good quality foundation sponge to blend and even everything out. I have found that as long as I have the right shade of foundation, there is really not that much streaky-ness anyway. The foundation I currently use is a liquid by Prescriptives, but I have used this brush for lots of different foundations (I change up a lot depending on my skin condition). I think its a great product. be sure to wash gently about once a week or so if you use it heavily (i.e. daily). Foundation goes on much better with a clean brush. I try not to wear makeup whenever I can help it. I think my skin looks much better when I don’t. However there are times when makeup is just expected…:)

Absolutely the best loose powder I have ever used, and I have used many! Makes my skin looked airbrushed, but not in that “fake” way. For reference I am a MMM-GGG (black hair and very dark brown eyes) and use the following foundation shades: GA LSF #8, Sue Devitt 70% Triple Seaweed Gel Foundation Nullarbor Plain, and Chantecaille Future Skin Sand. I bought this in Ray and I must say it was a perfect shade for me! It didn’t oxidize like any of MAC’s bases and it gave a light and dewy finish but at the same time made me look polished also.
